ADL Staff Receives Training in Laboratory and Forensic Photography
Posted: June 5, 2012
ADL faculty and staff are trained in photographic techniques for forensic documentation of laboratory specimens.
On May 29-31, 2012 faculty and staff from Penn State's Animal Diagnostic Laboratory participated in a short course on Laboratory and Forensic Photography. Instruction was provided by faculty from the Penn State Forensic Science Program. The three-day course provided participants both lecture and practical instruction on photographic methods in a variety of settings using advanced photographic equipment. This instruction is intended to enhance the forensic necropsy services currently provided by the Animal Diagnostic Laboratory and will be a valuable asset to animal health and law enforcement
agencies.
