Accession Fees

An accession fee will be charged on all non-regulatory cases based on the total bill, as follows:

$4.00 for less than $20.00 total bill

$10.00 for $20.00 - $39.99 total bill

$15.00 for $40.00 and over total bill

Disposal Fees

A disposal fee will apply for all carcasses submitted for analysis.  Fees are as follows:

$20 per carcass weighing <250 lbs

$40 per carcass weighing >250 lbs

Out-of-State Fees

There will be a 25% surcharge for out-of-state cases.  The necropsy fee for in-state cases is capped, therefore there is no charge for additional tests selected.  However, out-of-state cases are not capped and there will be a charge for each additional test beyond gross examination for out-of-state cases.  Cases are charged out-of state rates if all affiliated parties are located outside of PA; in-state charges apply if at least one party is located within PA.

Out of Lab Testing

Samples sent for analysis to outside labs are billed for any additional direct costs incurred.  There is a minimum $20.00 fee for shipping and handling.

Reporting Services

Telephone, US Mail, FAX, or email reports are provided at no additional charge.  A $2.00 fee may be charged for sending reports on demand.

Rabies

There is no charge for shipping or testing for in-state clients.  Out-of-state clients may be charged a fee of up to $150.00.
