Re-Certification Meetings

"Re-certification" is required at least every three years. All veterinarians who were certified in 2004 (or earlier) should plan on attending one of these sessions. Every* veterinarian who is doing risk assessments and writing herd plans MUST attend a re-certification session. At these meetings, updates will be provided on Johne's Disease, the state program, commonly observed 'issues' with risk assessment/herd plans, etc. by some or all of Bob Whitlock, Ray Sweeney, Dave Griswold, Ernest Hovingh and others.

There are currently no scheduled meetings planned.

These sessions will provide CE credit hours. Food will be provided.

You must register for these meetings - send an e-mail to Ernest Hovingh or call (814) 863-8526 and leave a message to let me know which one you plan to attend.

Althought a few additional sessions are planned for the spring you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities.

(*If you have been writing herd plans after being trained by a colleague (i.e. you have not attended a certification meeting), you must attend a re-certification meeting this year.)
