Dr. Robert F. Paulson signing the plans for the new building as the VBS representative

Doing his part as the representative for the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences Dr. Robert Paulson helped make the Departments approval official by signing the plans for the new building that will be built in the place of the original William H. Henning Building.

As the occupants of the Henning building have all been relocated recently to accommodate for the buildings abatement, there were many sentimental moments for those who had worked in the building for many years as they said goodbye.

However, as the proverbial dust settles from the move, the work to take down the original building and get the new one up in its place is underway and the excitement that comes along with new lab space and offices builds.

The College of Agriculture's Dean Roush, Senior Associate Dean Steve Loerch, the College's Facilities Coordinator Brad Smith, along with Department Representatives from VBS and Animal Science are among those who are looking forward to seeing the recently signed plans come to fruition.

The construction will likely last at least two years before the occupants can move back in. The new building will remain in the same location as the original.
