Dr. Metzger is the founder and medical director of Metzger Animal Hospital (VCA Metzger), a twelve-doctor AAHA certified general, referral and 24 -hour emergency hospital in State College, Pennsylvania. Previous to his appointment, Dr. Metzger was a regularly guest lectur in several VBSC classes, Pre-Vet Club membership meetings, Pre-Vet Symposiums, and provided hands-on labs and lectures for the prestigious national APVMA conference in 2007 and 2019 hosted by Penn State's Pre-Vet Club.
