Wendy Clemens is Vice President of Early Development Oncology, Bristol Myers Squibb, leading a team of scientists that develop novel oncology therapeutics from pre-clinical stage through proof-of-concept. These innovative therapies are designed to activate the immune system to kill tumor cells in patients with advanced malignancies with high unmet medical need. Overall, Wendy has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry where she has served in various scientific roles focused on immunology, infectious disease and oncology at several pharmaceutical companies including Bristol Myers Squibb, Tmunity, MedImmune/Astra Zeneca and Merck. Wendy received her BS from Penn State University in Animal Bioscience, her MS from University of Missouri in Veterinary Immunology and her PhD from the Department of Physiology at Penn State University. Her Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship was conducted at the Food and Drug Administration in Bethesda, Maryland. Wendy lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her husband, two stepdaughters and two dogs.
