Parag Chary is a Senior Principal Scientist, Global Biologics Research at Zoetis Inc., where he conducts vaccine research and development. He has a Veterinary Degree from India, M.S and PhD.D form University of Minnesota, Residency Certificate from the University of Georgia and Post-Doctoral training from Rockefeller University/Cornell Medical School and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.


Dr. Chary is a Veterinarian, Immunologist and Pathologist and Project Team Leader with a broad understanding of disease. He has extensive experience and is interested in designing and executing a variety of studies, and performing diagnostic and pathological evaluations in a variety of animal species. He has also developed vaccine/biological candidates/ challenge models for various bacterial and viral avian infectious diseases. He has led target and non-target animal safety studies for vaccine and pharmaceutical registration. Led novel concepts, ideas, projects and in vivo studies utilizing vaccines, bio-therapeutics and small molecules (pharmaceutical).  He is involved in medium scale bio-processing of viral vaccines. He has a U.S patent in the area of Poultry Performance and is interested in innovative ways of improving muscle yields.
