A vast array of services and diagnostic tests are performed by our various laboratory units.
A range of testing services is provided by PADLS laboratories for the detection and identification of microscopic parasite eggs or larvae and protozoal organisms.
The serology laboratory offers a range of serological assays including agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID), enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), virus neutralization (VN) and rapid plate agglutination (RPA) tests.
The Molecular Section at KADC provides testing using modern equipment to detect the presence of pathogens in animal tissues and body secretions.
