Traveling to scientific meetings is an important part of professional development. Students and postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible.

The goal of graduate/postdoctoral training is for the students/fellows to become independent professionals as researchers, and to learn how to write and speak about science.

Goal: To expose undergraduates to basic science research.
