The microbiology laboratory at the Animal Diagnostic Lab comprises state of the art laboratory equipment and facilities. The Bacteriology section offers isolation identification and antibiotic sensitivity testing of bacteria and fungi using traditional as well as cutting edge molecular methods. The Salmonella Enteritidis section offers testing of a range of samples including poultry environmental samples for the presence of salmonella. We accommodate testing for PEQAP as well as Food and Drug Administration (FDA) procedures.
