TEMPORARY LAB CLOSURE

Dear Clients,

Please be advised that the Animal Diagnostic Laboratory will be closed on a day in early November, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. due to a power outage which is required as part of the utility work for the new ADL building.  Note that this date has changed yesterday and may change again before it is completed.

The laboratory will reopen at 1:00 p.m. on this date to accept incoming samples; however, no testing will be performed on samples received that day. Samples and carcasses for necropsy can be dropped off as usual starting at 1:00 p.m., with normal after-hours procedures in place starting at 5:00 p.m. 

** If you *need* to have same-day testing done on that day, please check with either PVL 717-787-8808

or NBC 610-925-6725, and deliver samples directly to one of those PADLS labs. **

Normal operations and testing will occur from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the next day – samples for same day testing (as normally available) on the next day, MUST be received by 10:00a.m. Normal after-hours drop-off procedures will be in place starting at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the shutdown.

Normal 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. hours of operation will resume on the day after the shutdown. 

**Please note the new main entrance of the lab will be relocating to a trailer at the back of the building,

effective 11/2/26.**
