Attention Clients

Dear valued ADL clients,

Please be advised that during the month of October 2020, we will have limited capacity to accept mammalian necropsy submissions.  We request that you call ahead for availability prior to submitting a case.  We ask that you please pass this on to your clients who regularly send submissions as well.  Submissions may be deferred to either the Pennsylvania Veterinary Lab in Harrisburg, or the New Bolton Center in Kennett Square.  We expect to resume normal capacity in November.  We recognize that this is an inconvenience to you and your clients, and we thank you for your understanding during this time of limited staffing at ADL.

Currently the Animal Diagnostic Lab is on normal operating schedule of 8 am to 5 pm.

Due to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, ADL is currently operating with minimal staffing during our regular business hours. Please be advised that turn-around-time for cases submitted to the lab may be delayed due to modified staffing. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We continue to remain open as an essential service for Pennsylvania agriculture. Please visit adl.psu.edu for updates, or call 814-863-0837.
