The Animal Diagnostic Lab Would Like to Welcome Dr. Kayla Niel to Our Team of Avian Pathologists

Dr. Kayla Niel will be joining the Penn State Animal Diagnostic Laboratory on July 1, 2022 as an Avian Diagnostic and Outreach Veterinarian. Dr. Niel received her BS in Animal Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University in 2015. She obtained a DVM and MS in Food Safety from Michigan State University in 2019. Dr. Niel has spent the last three years working as a Production and Regulatory Veterinarian for Hy-Line International based in Dallas Center, Iowa. Dr. Niel is looking forward to returning to Pennsylvania to provide diagnostic and outreach services to Pennsylvania poultry producers.
