Veterinary Forensics: Investigation, Evidence Collection, and Expert Testimony was recently published by CRC Press in March 2018 and is one of the few textbooks in the field of veterinary forensic investigation. Edited by Drs. Ernest Rogers and Adam Stern, the text is co-authored by multiple talented contributors with expertise in a variety of related fields. Dr. Jason Brooks (Penn State University) has authored a chapter on Postmortem Changes and the Estimation of Time Since Death. This book will serve as a critical reference for veterinarians and criminal investigators involved in the evaluation and investigation of animal crimes.
